Privacy Policy for EMC Development Solutions Corp
Effective October 7, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information EMC Development Solutions Corp ("we," "our," or "us") collects through this website, how we use it, who sees it, and what choices you have. It covers this website and the messages you send us through it. It does not cover information we collect after you hire us, such as contracts, permits, and payments. That information is handled under your agreement with us and is shared only as the project requires, for example with permit agencies, your lender, our insurers, and subcontractors.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form on this site, we collect:
Your name
Your email address
Your phone number, if you choose to give it
The subject and any project details you choose to include in your message
Information collected automatically. Our website host, Wix, automatically collects technical data when you visit, such as your IP address (which can show your approximate location), browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. Wix does this through cookies and similar technologies.
Please do not send sensitive information through this website. That includes Social Security numbers, bank or credit card numbers, driver's license or other government ID numbers, and passwords. We do not need them to answer an inquiry. If we ever need one, we will tell you how to send it safely.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information you send us to:
Respond to your inquiry and provide a proposal or estimate
Keep internal business records
Operate, secure, and improve the website, including understanding how many people visit and which pages they view
Comply with the law and protect our legal rights
We do not offer newsletters, subscriptions, user accounts, or online payments, and we do not send marketing emails or marketing text messages.
Who We Share Information With
We share information only with the following kinds of recipients:
Service providers who help us run the website and communicate with you, such as our website host (Wix) and our email provider (Google)
Professional advisers, such as our attorneys, accountants, and insurers, when needed
Government agencies, courts, or other parties when the law requires it or when needed to protect our legal rights
A buyer or successor, if we ever sell or reorganize the business
Our service providers may use your information only to provide their services to us and under their own legal obligations, and they have their own privacy policies. Wix's policy is at https://www.wix.com/about/privacy-policy.
We Do Not Sell Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for cross-site advertising. We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing. We will not rent or lease your information to anyone.
Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking
Our website is hosted by Wix, which uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, keep it secure, and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you decline cookies, some parts of the site may not work as well.
We do not run advertising pixels, advertising networks, or cross-site tracking tools on this website. To our knowledge, no other party collects information about your online activity over time across different websites through our site, other than the cookies and analytics that Wix uses to run the site.
Our website does not respond to Do Not Track signals or Global Privacy Control signals, because we do not track you across other websites and do not sell or share your information for advertising, so there is nothing for those signals to turn off. If you want to limit cookies, use your browser settings.
Calls, Texts, and Emails to You
If you give us your phone number or email address, you agree that we may call, text, or email you about your inquiry, including to answer your questions and follow up on a proposal. We do not make sales calls or send marketing texts to people who only filled out the form. If you tell us to stop contacting you by any of these methods, in any reasonable way, we will stop. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply to texts.
How Long We Keep Information
We keep inquiry messages only as long as reasonably needed to respond to you and to keep ordinary business records. If you become a client, we keep your project records for as long as needed for our contract, warranty, licensing, tax, insurance, and legal obligations, which in construction can be many years. We may keep information longer when we need it to resolve a dispute or comply with the law. When we no longer need information, we delete it or remove identifying details.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.
Your Choices and Requests
California and some other states give residents specific privacy rights over the information held by larger businesses. We are a small business and do not currently meet those laws' size or data-volume thresholds. We still offer these choices to everyone who contacts us:
Access: ask us what personal information we hold about you and for a copy of it.
Correction: tell us if something is wrong or incomplete and we will correct it.
Deletion: ask us to delete the information you sent us. We will, except for information we are required or entitled to keep, such as records of a project or contract, or information we need for a legal dispute.
Stop contacting you: tell us at any time to stop emailing, calling, or texting you.
To make a request, email info@emcbuildingcorp.com or call (909) 486-3818. We may ask you to confirm that you are the person who sent the message, for example by replying from the email address you used. We will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
Children's Privacy
Our website is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Links to Other Websites
Our website may contain links to other websites. We do not control the privacy practices of those sites, and this Privacy Policy applies only to our website. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit.
Where Your Information Is Processed
This website is intended for people in the United States. Wix and our other service providers may store and process information in the United States and in other countries where they operate.
Changes to This Policy
When we change this Privacy Policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change is material, we will also place a notice at the top of this page for at least 30 days. A change applies to information collected after the new version is posted, unless we say otherwise. Please check this page from time to time.
